02. Avoid

Recover Your Rankings

How to Find
All of Your Backlinks
At first, go
to Google Webmaster Tools, in the left menu, click on Search Traffic then
select Links to Your Site for download all of the backlinks recognized
by Google.
In the module,
click on More to see all of the backlinks. For export all of your
backlinks, click on Download latest links:
Now, you
have got all of the backlinks from Google Webmaster to your preferred SEO tool.
You can use any tool you like for your SEO metric of links. Be careful using
tools that promise to automatically identify low-quality backlinks, because you
might end up rejecting some of your most excellent backlinks.
How to Identify
the Bad Backlinks
I recommend
a tool called Monitor Backlinks. Now I will show you how use it to identify
the bad backlinks on your websites. After connecting with your Google Analyticsaccount and importing your links from Google Webmaster Tools, you can see all
of the backlinks on your website.
Now hear you
see the backlinks that are dofollow. These links are passing PageRank, and Matt
Cutts has said that they overlook the backlinks with a nofollow attribute.
On the right side of your Monitor , click on the
thumbs up icon to view all of your dofollow backlinks:
You will focus
on the 199 backlinks that are dofollow and power your rankings in Google. To identify
the low-quality ones, you first will look at the links that have over 100
external backlinks per page. For this, click on “Filters” and select
“External”:
Now you can
see the correct number of external links each page has:
Now, you can
manually verify each backlinks, and detect the bad ones. Usually, backlinks are
coming from blog comments. Now I will show you real examples of low-quality
backlinks with a high number of external links.

website has all the elements of a low-quality website, so I don’t want to be
connected with this because, it’s not related to my website and has a very poor
contain.
You can find
all of your backlinks which have zero PageRank. To see these links, go to
Monitor Backlinks, click on “Filters,” then decide “PageRank,” and then select
“Domain - 0”:
Then verify
these backlinks manually and make a decision which ones are not related to your
website and harm for your rankings
Apply for Removal of the Bad Links
When you are confident that a link is harmful for your
Google rankings, try to cut off it. The following easy step you can do this:
1. Create an email with your request to
remove a link.
Try to use your company email address (kkhan@knowledgeinfi.com) not a free email (kkhan@gmail.com)
provider. Try to prove to the webmaster that you own the website. Don’t use stupid
words like Dear webmaster or Dear brother. Then find the website owner’s name, Try
to make it easy for them to understand where your link is located. Don’t spam
the site proprietor by emails. One request is enough.

Mainly all websites have a Contact us or about
us page. There you can find the site owner’s name and email address. If
these pages are missing, it’s more difficult to find the contact details.If you
face such problems, you can use Whois.com to find their email address. Just
type the website name whose contact details you are trying to find,then check
for: “Administrative Contact Email.”
3. Send your requests to remove the bad links
on your website.
These are some possible situation will happen. Such as Your
link will be removed. Your email will be overlooked. In this situation, you
will have to disavow the total domain. I’ll show you how to do it.
Disavow the Remaining Bad Links
Now I show how you can easily create a disavow report:
Go to Monitor Backlinks, in the backlinks page, click the
settings button on the right corner, and add tags to all of the links you could
not delete. You be able to use a simple tag like “disavow.” Go to Filters, then
click on “Tags” and select “Disavow”. Hear you can see a list with all of the
backlinks you have tagged.
Now, you can simply make a disavow report that you can
submit to Disavow Links Tool. For this, click on “With all” and choose “Export”:
Now need to upload your file to Google Disavow for submit
the report.
